Dear mates,

Following the Federal Council’s announcements of Friday 11th September concerning visitors from abroad, here is some less encouraging news (for people coming from areas considered red by Switzerland) that we have just received.

Unlike the Canton of Vaud, the Canton of Geneva has just given its opinion, and has interpreted the FOPH’s ordinance concerning persons residing in regions on the red list (updated list) differently. Unfortunately, these persons will not obtain an exemption for the event and will therefore not be able to participate this year.

The runners received an email detailing the modalities for their registration.

We thank you for your unfailing support, patience and understanding and we hope to see you again as soon as possible.

Run Mate 2020 will be a special edition with only 75% of the registered teams able to start. Our thoughts go out to those registered in the red zones who will not be with us this year but whom we will be happy to welcome in the years to come.
