THE PRE-RACE

Pre-race

ESTIMATE
HIS TIME

Is your team complete?
Next step: estimate your total race time to allow the organization to assign the correct start times.

TO BE RETURNED BEFORE AUGUST 15

Download the Excel spreadsheet, complete it with your team, then send it back by email to contact@runmate.org .

How does it work?

01

Download

Retrieve the timesheet prepared by the organization

02

Complete

Complete the estimated pace for each relay runner with your team

03

Send

The captain must return the completed Excel file to contact@runmate.org before the deadline.

04

Run

An accurate estimate facilitates reception at relay points and safety on the route

Why is this important?

Start times better distributed

Relay points ready to welcome you

Safety and devices better positioned

Keep in mind

Going too far ahead can lead to a temporary stop at the relay point

Being too late may require getting ahead on the course

A good estimate = a smoother race

Challenge estimate 2026

The team that comes closest to its real-time result will win a unique prize in the 2026 edition.

The organizers reserve the right to modify the course up to and including race day and during the event to ensure participant safety. The final GPX track will be provided the day before the race.

OFF-RACING CHALLENGES

Run Mate by Core Lean also offers team challenges outside of the race, with rewards to be won!

The route
offline

To follow the route even without a network, each Mate must install Maps.me before the event.

mapsme.png
logo appstore 07.54.47.png
Google Play logo 07.54.47.png

Maps.me is a free application available on the App Store and the Play Store. It allows you to import and follow the detailed route of the race, even offline, without 3G, 4G or 5G.

The organization strongly recommends that every Mate use the application.

The app allows users to have detailed information about the route and checkpoints with them at all times. This allows runners to confirm they are indeed on the course.

Install the application before the event and download the "Lake Geneva Region" and "Haute-Savoie" maps.

The route to be integrated into the application will be communicated the day before the race in KML format.

1

Install

Download Maps.me on your phone.

2

Prepare

Download the useful maps before the weekend.

3

Import

Add the KML file that was sent the day before.

4

Run

Keep the route and relay points handy.

Wrong direction

You'll regularly find reflective tape and directional arrows. At major intersections, signs with a cross will indicate the paths you shouldn't take. If you run more than 1 km without seeing one of these signs, you're probably not going in the right direction.

FOLLOW
HIS MATE

Live tracking will be available over the weekend.

Following your teammate's progress will be possible on our website throughout the event weekend. Remember to share this information with your team so everyone can keep up with the race.

Live tracking available on the website during the event weekend!

If a Mate
gets lost

  • The organization will contact the team captain to explain the situation. The captain will then need to contact their teammate.

  • If the organization has not yet contacted you, you can contact the Race Control Center.

If a Mate
se hurt

  • The injured Mate calls his team to come and get him.

  • Any Mate on the team can replace him and the injured Mate can rejoin the vehicle.

  • The replacement Mate resumes the race from the point where the runner abandoned.

  • In case of a life-threatening emergency, call one of the emergency numbers depending on the territory where you are located.

  • If there is no emergency, you can consult the medical team.

RUNNING WITH
MEANING

Run Mate by Core Lean takes place in an exceptional environment around Lake Geneva. We all have a role to play in preserving this area and supporting causes that matter.

TWO STRONG COMMITMENTS

Reduce the environmental impact of the event and highlight a foundation committed to the prevention and treatment of strokes.

OUR COMMITMENTS

DEVELOPMENT
SUSTAINABLE

For this edition, the focus is on two major levers: transport and waste reduction.

🚆

Favor sustainable transport

À pied, à vélo ou en transports publics : chaque trajet repensé réduit l’impact de l’évènement.

🚗

Sharing your vehicle

If you are coming by car, consider carpooling and filling up the vehicles.

♻️

Reduce waste

Avoid single-use products and use recycling facilities.

🌊

Protecting Lake Geneva

No waste should be left on the route, at the relay stations or in nature.

Every gesture counts

A more responsible race relies on everyone's choices.
Thank you for playing along with us.

WASTE

A large proportion of the plastic produced worldwide is intended for single use. Once discarded, it is still too rarely recycled and sometimes ends up in nature, oceans and lakes.

🗑️

Sort your waste correctly

Use the bins and recycling areas provided in the village and at the relay stations.

🎒

Take your rubbish home with you

If there is no collection point, keep them with you until you reach the next suitable area.

💚

Set an example

Encourage your team to adopt the right reflexes before, during and after the race.
