RUN MATE, WHAT IS IT?

THE CONCEPT

RUN MATE, WHAT IS IT?

Run Mate by Core Lean Lac Léman is a running event in the exceptional environment of the Lake Geneva basin.

The teams, made of 2 to 9 Mates, have to cover in relays about 220 km around the lake, using roads, paths, pavements… The runners share out 26 relay, 4 to 15 km long, according to the strategy chosen by each team.

Each Mate runs one or several relays. While one team-mate runs, the others go to the next relay point by van or car to wait for him and encourage him in a festive atmosphere.

The event takes place over two days and one night. Challenges are also offered in parallel to the race for even more fun. Once the loop has been completed, the Mates are welcomed with a good meal to share a convivial moment together.

WHO ARE THE MATES?

You are the Mates!

Teams must be composed of 2 to 9 Mates. But for more fairness, two rankings exist. Between 2 and 5 Mates, you will take part in the ULTRA ranking. Between 6 and 9 Mates, in the TEAM ranking. The rankings are mixed and there are no age categories.

Run Mate by Core Lean is accessible to all. Whether you are a Sunday runner or a seasoned athlete, a bitumen enthusiast or a lover of slopes: there are relay portions for all tastes. It is simply a question of organisation and strategy.
