Registrations are now open!

Following the success of the fourth edition of Run Mate by Core-Lean Lac Léman earlier this year, registrations for the fifth edition are now open. The participants, called “Mates”, will gather in Montreux on 23 and 24 September 2023 to challenge each other, in teams, around Lake Geneva.

More than 200 teams are expected to set off from the beautiful town of Montreux with only one objective in mind: to complete the tour of the lake, finishing where they started. With a unique course around the magnificent Lake Geneva of about 220 km, the teams composed of 2 to 9 “Mates” will have to pass the relay until they return to Montreux. The race, spread over two days and one night, will give the teams the opportunity to go head-to-head as part of an extraordinary challenge. The starts will be staggered throughout the day on Saturday with arrivals on Sunday morning at sunrise.. For this fifth edition, and for the first time, the teams will be able to share a friendly moment together at the finish around a traditional Wyssmüller fondue!

Friends, family, colleagues, associations and sports clubs come together at Run Mate by Core-Lean Lac Léman for an exceptional sporting experience. The event is a unique way to unite and create group cohesion where together, participants will experience an exceptional human adventure. More than just a running race, Run Mate by Core-Lean also offers off-race challenges to be completed in teams, the best of which will be rewarded.

In 2022, 180 teams set off to complete the relay race around Lake Geneva, including Team Koh-Lanta, which completed the challenge in 19 hours, 03 minutes and 53 seconds. The event is also a real example of humanity where many teams run to support a solidarity cause, as was the case with the Joël’Stars team who accompanied 6 joëlettes in this exceptional challenge last year.

Registrations for the fifth edition of Run Mate by Core-Lean Lac Léman open today, Tuesday 13 December, and the Organising Committee is looking forward to welcoming all participants who wish to take on the team challenge of completing a lap around the lake.
